CommonMark brings the functionality of https://commonmark.thephpleague.com/ into ExpressionEngine text fields and templates, providing support for both the CommonMark and GitHub-Flavored Markdown specs.

GFM is the default Markdown flavor; however, you can easily customization the implementation by editing the sample system/user/config/commonmark.php config file.
